Then those who respected the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord took notice. A scroll was prepared before him in which were recorded the names of those who respected the Lord and honored his name. — Mal 3:16 NET
While they were talking and debating these things, Jesus himself approached and began to accompany them.—“For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”—Coworkers, whose names are in the book of life.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.—But exhort one another each day, as long as it is called “Today,” that none of you may become hardened by sin’s deception.
“I tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”—Look, I have decreed.

The trees of the Lord receive all the rain they need. — Ps 104:16 NET
I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily, he will send down his roots like a cedar of Lebanon. His young shoots will grow; his splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.—“My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me. They will be like a tree planted near a stream whose roots spread out toward the water. It has nothing to fear when the heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought. It does not stop bearing fruit.”
“I make the high tree low; I raise up the low tree. I make the green tree wither, and I make the dry tree sprout.”
The godly grow like a palm tree; they grow high like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the Lord’s house, they grow in the courts of our God. They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves.
