I am my beloved’s, and he desires me! — Song 7:10 NET
I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.—For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.—“I kept them safe and watched over them in your name that you have given me. Not one of them was lost.”
For the Lord takes delight in his people.—“Delighting in its people.”—His great love with which he loved us.—“No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life for his friends.”
For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.—If we live, we live for the Lord; if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

Carefully read the scroll of the Lord! — Isa 34:16 NET
“Fix these words of mine into your mind and being, and tie them as a reminder on your hands and let them be symbols on your forehead.”—“This law scroll must not leave your lips! You must memorize it day and night so you can carefully obey all that is written in it. Then you will prosper and be successful.”
The law of their God controls their thinking; their feet do not slip.—Just as you have commanded, I have not followed in the footsteps of violent men.—In my heart I store up your words, so I might not sin against you.
Moreover, we possess the prophetic word as an altogether reliable thing. You do well if you pay attention to this as you would to a light shining in a murky place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.—That through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope.
