“Remain in me, and I will remain in you.” — John 15:4 NET
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it…. Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!—But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness.—If indeed you remain in the faith, established and firm, without shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard.
And now, little children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink away from him in shame when he comes back.—The one who says he resides in God ought himself to walk just as Jesus walked.

“Do you believe in the Son of Man?” — John 9:35 NET
“And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?”
The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence.— The blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time. He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.—“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God – the one who is, and who was, and who is still to come – the All-Powerful!
“Lord, I believe.”—I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.
“Look, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and priceless cornerstone, and whoever believes in him will never be put to shame.” So you who believe see his value.
