“I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.” — Heb 13:5 NET
So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
“I am with you! I will protect you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you!”—“Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for the Lord your God is the one who is going with you. He will not fail you or abandon you!”
For Demas deserted me, since he loved the present age. At my first defense no one appeared in my support; instead they all deserted me – may they not be held accountable for it. But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me.—Even if my father and mother abandoned me, the Lord would take me in.
“And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”—“[I am] the one who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive – forever and ever.”—“I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you.”—“My peace I give to you.”
Heb 13:6, Gen 28:15, Deut 31:6, 2 Tim 4:10, 2 Tim 4:16-17, Ps 27:10, Matt 28:20, Rev 1:18, John 14:18, John 14:27
“Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing! But at your word I will lower the nets.” — Luke 5:5 NET
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit … And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
“The kingdom of heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea.”
For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason for boasting, because I am compelled to do this. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! To the weak I became weak in order to gain the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that by all means I may save some.
So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.—“In the same way, the promise that I make does not return to me, having accomplished nothing. No, it is realized as I desire and is fulfilled as I intend.”—So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.
