The one who comes to me I will never send away. — John 6:37 NET

“When he cries out to me, I will hear, for I am gracious.”—“I will not reject them and abhor them to make a complete end of them, to break my covenant with them, for I am the Lord their God.”—“I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish a lasting covenant with you.”

“Come, let’s consider your options,” says the Lord. “Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.”—“The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the Lord, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.”—“Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

A crushed reed he will not break, a dim wick he will not extinguish.

The Son he loves. — Col 1:13 NET

And a voice from heaven said, “This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight.”—Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure.—The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father.

By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent his one and only Son into the world so that we may live through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins…. And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has in us. God is love.

“The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one – I in them and you in me – that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.”—See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children.
