Christ is Precious

Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious. — 1 Pet 2:6-7

Jesus, in thy transporting name
What glories meet our eyes!
Thou art the angels’ sweetest theme,
The wonder of the skies.

Oh may our willing hearts confess
Thy sweet, thy gently sway;
Glad captives of thy matchless grace,
Thy righteous rule obey.
