Of Answers to Prayer

I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. — Ps 116:1-2

Did ever trouble yet befall,
And he refuse to hear thy call?
And has he not his promise pass’d,
That thou shalt overcome at last?
