March 13

Suddenly a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak. She said to herself, “If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed.” — Matt 9:20-21 BSB

The ‘cloak of Christ’ is still near us. It’s there when we open the Bible and read His words. It’s there when we sense the presence of the Holy Spirit. It’s beside our bed when we are in pain, near us when sorrow darkens our lives, and with us in the busiest moments of our daily tasks. Wherever we are, Christ’s cloak is always trailing nearby, close enough for us to reach out and touch it. When we do, even with the weakest faith, our touch is felt in heaven, and Christ turns with a voice of love, saying, “Who touched Me?”
