Nevertheless you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. — 1 John 2:20 NET
God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power.—For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in the Son.—For we have all received from his fullness one gracious gift after another.
You refresh my head with oil.—The anointing that you received from him resides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as it has taught you, you reside in him.
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and will cause you to remember everything I said to you.”
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.

We have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience. — Heb 10:22 NET
For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow sprinkled on those who are defiled consecrated them and provided ritual purity, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.—The sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
For when Moses had spoken every command to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats with water and scarlet wool and hyssop and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,… And both the tabernacle and all the utensils of worship he likewise sprinkled with blood. Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
