Morning

We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is. — 1 John 3:2 NET

But to all who have received him – those who believe in his name – he has given the right to become God’s children.—Through these things he has bestowed on us his precious and most magnificent promises, so that by means of what was promised you may become partakers of the divine nature, after escaping the worldly corruption that is produced by evil desire.

Since ancient times no one has heard or perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who intervenes for those who wait for him.

For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.—Christ … will transform these humble bodies of ours into the likeness of his glorious body by means of that power by which he is able to subject all things to himself.—As for me, because I am innocent I will see your face; when I awake you will reveal yourself to me.

John 1:12, 2 Pet 1:4, Isa 64:4, 1 Cor 13:12, Phil 3:20-21, Ps 17:15

Evening

“The man who is my associate,” says the Lord who rules over all. — Zech 13:7 NET

In him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form.—“I have energized a warrior; I have raised up a young man from the people.”—“I have stomped grapes in the winepress all by myself; no one from the nations joined me.”

And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: He was revealed in the flesh.—For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…. But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever.” … “Let all the angels of God worship him!”
