To bring credit to the teaching of God our Savior in everything. — Titus 2:10 NET
Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.—Stay away from every form of evil.—If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, who is the Spirit of God, rests on you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or thief or criminal or as a troublemaker.—Be blameless and pure, children of God without blemish though you live in a crooked and perverse society, in which you shine as lights in the world.—“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good deeds and give honor to your Father in heaven.”
Do not let truth and mercy leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will find favor and good understanding, in the sight of God and people.—Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.

“The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” — John 6:63 NET
By his sovereign plan he gave us birth through the message of truth.—The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Christ loved the church and gave himself for her to sanctify her by cleansing her with the washing of the water by the word, so that he may present the church to himself as glorious – not having a stain or wrinkle, or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.
How can a young person maintain a pure life? By guarding it according to your instructions! Your promise revives me. In my heart I store up your words, so I might not sin against you. I do not forget your instructions. I trust in your word. The law you have revealed is more important to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have revived me. Your words are sweeter in my mouth than honey! Your precepts give me discernment. Therefore I hate all deceitful actions.
