The one who sows righteousness reaps a genuine reward. — Prov 11:18 NET

“After a long time, the master of those slaves came and settled his accounts with them. The one who had received the five talents came and brought five more, saying, ’Sir, you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ His master answered, ’Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful in a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’”

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil.

I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith! Finally the crown of righteousness is reserved for me. The Lord, the righteous Judge, will award it to me in that day – and not to me only, but also to all who have set their affection on his appearing.

“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.”

Matt 25:19-21, 2 Cor 5:10, 2 Tim 4:7-8, Rev 3:11

God is faithful. — 1 Cor 10:13 NET

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a human being, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen?”—“The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind.”

In the same way God wanted to demonstrate more clearly to the heirs of the promise that his purpose was unchangeable, and so he intervened with an oath, so that we who have found refuge in him may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things, since it is impossible for God to lie.—So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good.

Because I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.—He who calls you is trustworthy, and he will in fact do this.—For every one of God’s promises are “Yes” in him; therefore also through him the “Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God.
