“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” — Exod 33:14 NET

“Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for the Lord your God is the one who is going with you. He will not fail you or abandon you! The Lord is indeed going before you – he will be with you; he will not fail you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged!”—“I repeat, be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic, for I, the Lord your God, am with you in all you do.”—Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.

He has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”—Our adequacy is from God.

“And do not lead us into temptation.”—Lord, we know that people do not control their own destiny. It is not in their power to determine what will happen to them.—You determine my destiny!

Let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works. — Heb 10:24 NET

“How painful are honest words!”—I am trying to stir up your pure mind by way of reminder.

Those who respected the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord took notice. A scroll was prepared before him in which were recorded the names of those who respected the Lord and honored his name.—“Again, I tell you the truth, if two of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.”

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.”—Two people are better than one, because they can reap more benefit from their labor. For if they fall, one will help his companion up, but pity the person who falls down and has no one to help him up.

Therefore we … determine never to place an obstacle or a trap before a brother or sister.—Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ…. Pay close attention to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.
