His commandments do not weigh us down. — 1 John 5:3 NET
“For this is the will of my Father – for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life.”—Whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing to him.
“For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.”—“If you love me, you will obey my commandments…. The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.”
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who obtains understanding…. Her ways are very pleasant, and all her paths are peaceful.—Those who love your law are completely secure; nothing causes them to stumble.—I delight in the law of God in my inner being.
This is his commandment: that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another.—Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Do not hold against me the sins of my youth or my rebellious acts! — Ps 25:7 NET
I remove the guilt of your rebellious deeds as if they were a cloud, the guilt of your sins as if they were a cloud.—“I, I am the one who blots out your rebellious deeds for my sake; your sins I do not remember.”—“Come, let’s consider your options,” says the Lord. “Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.”—“For I will forgive their sin and will no longer call to mind the wrong they have done.”—You will hurl our sins into the depths of the sea.
Look, the grief I experienced was for my benefit. You delivered me from the pit of oblivion. For you removed all my sins from your sight.—There is no other God like you! You forgive sin … You do not remain angry forever, but delight in showing loyal love.—To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own blood … to him be the glory and the power for ever and ever! Amen.
